In the last post we included an article from a PR writer that was about how a large part of the unemployed are just drawing unemployment and looking for alternatives to employment.

It is my suspicion that they are trying to hold out for a much better salary or wage offers than they would have to settle for if they took employment at this time. This is definitely a bad position to take if you ever expect to get back to employment again. Be aware that your extended unemployment will end up no longer supporting you unemployed status and your alternatives will be a very much larger reduction in your income when you take that last minute job.

The difference between our program and the employment model is that the employment model is what we have spent our entire lives working to become. This makes the employment program the only option we have been exposed to in our lives.

Sure we have heard of or have known someone that has had the drive to become a business owner and an entrepreneur. In this filed their past education would play a limited part in the arena of being an entrepreneur. However there are certain business processes that you never learned in your year’s of schooling. They didn’t teach this in school because it didn’t fit the employment model that was your purpose of school, to learn what you needed to know to become a good employee.

Here are your options. Your may not be able to get a job secured for you and your family before you unemployment insurance runs out. The facts are that the government and the insurance carriers that are paying for your unemployment term cannot provide thus indefinitely.

Your options will end up for most of you with either temporary employment as an option you can chose or to learn to set yourself up as a contracting company that will contract your services to probably a past employer. They cannot hire you as an employee but they can hire you as a contracting company.

Before the recession happened all companies were hiring and providing jobs for the general public. Because the economy dropped so fast and so drastically these companies are now trying to maintain their usual process of production. Very few of them are able to do this.

They cannot hire any additional employees at this time. Yet they very badly need people to do the work that they must do to survive. The temporary agencies will fill some of the gap but the employers want another solution to this. A lot of their concerns are that the temporary employment agencies are not providing any benefits for the temporary employees. This leaves these companies afraid that this supply of temporary employees will vanish as quickly as their past employees did.
